I think it's funny that GG is still trying to make "blue eyes" happen. AND LMAO. AS's jacket made that kiss SO. LOUD.

You mean you don't find the deadpan delivery of 'blue eyes" sexy and seductive? Yeah, me either. If Martsolf is having trouble shedding a tear over his heartbreak, Gering is acting like merely farted inappropriately. This could be the end of his marriage and probably will be when the EJami sexcapade comes out but I don't feel his anguish or remorse one bit.

I feel his remorse, but it doesn't seem particularly strong or deep. I also don't feel or see Sami's pain. There are just no emotions other than her anger.
I realize there are those who will disagree, but I see Sami as in pain, but her anger is the way that pain is coming out. She shows that she is angry with everyone else for this, but I think she is truly angry with herself for what she has done, which is why she can't forgive Rafe and why she tries to blame everyone else.

I think that's how it should be, but I see no evidence of it AS's performance at all.

As for Carrie...it's hard for me to notice that she's lying about having feelings for Rafe, when I never felt like she was showing that she had feelings for him before, lol.

Jack looked atrocious today.

Sami is a Beast, but those were sweet scenes between her and Rafe in the end.
On this, I totally agree!

I see Rafe as remorseful for what he did, and I believe he is really sorry it ever happened, but I don't think he feels it is really that big of a deal to end a marriage over, and I would agree; he knows he messed up in kissing Carrie. I think it would help in seeing his remorse if the writers had stuck to his knowing Sami's entire past instead of him just finding out now that there were problems between them concerning men. Apparently Sami left that aspect of her life out of the conversations they had.

Everyone is on Sami for lying and not be honest about what happened, but Carrie is being the same way. She won't admit to her husband or her sister that she has real feelings for Rafe even tho they have both asked her over and over.
I did see Sami's pain and I liked the subtle change on her face when Rafe mentioned "Blue Eyes" I thought it well done. Rafe finally came off as a man in love with his wife in that very last scene. I thought it was the best one of the show.

I do have problems with the dialogue though. I thought not enough effort was put forth and instead of enhancing the impact of the scenes the words weakened them.

I was really looking forward to today's show and in general, I wasn't disappointed. I'm not really feeling the Madison/Brady connection anymore--I dunno, it just seemed too quick and too forced. I would love for Brady to find somebody that clicks with him, though.

The Ian/Kate scenes seemed creepy to me and I'm so over Jarlena making out on the couch stuff. Enough, already.

Watching Austin squirm was pretty enjoyable and Jack still makes me laugh, in a good way. I know he's dorky and his sweater was pathetic but his goofiness and affection for his daughter endears him to me.

My favorite scenes were the SAFE scenes at the pub. I do feel Rafe is remorseful and he'll do anything to make it right, but he knows he has a long way to go to do that. Rafe isn't going to lie so he wouldn't tell his wife exactly what she wanted to hear. I don't really sense that he has feelings for Carrie, but she did give him attention when he was craving it, listened to and laughed with him, and he is attracted to her. The faces he made at the end of the ice capades scenes pretty much said so, IMO. He didn't like that he was lusting for her, but he was. I have to say the writing and delivery was right on today--Rafe's tone, Sami's longing eyes--his insistence--her attitude. It's all still there. She is his everything and she doesn't want to be without him. The kids certainly don't either.

I love SJB and oh do I miss her tears. She's a really good crier!

I think Kate and Ian are creepy...but mostly because of lack of movement from both their faces.

Really liked the Jack/Abigail scenes and the scenes once Austin and Carrie got there were hilarious, particularly the facial expressions of Austin and Abigail. That played really well. Loved that.

Loved the Sami/Rafe scenes. Classic couple angst right there. I thought GG and AS were good there. Nice seeing Kayla. MBE looks good. I enjoyed her interacting with the kids and counseling Rafe.

The Brady/Madison scenes were really good. I thought that was one of EM's best performances. He had tears in his eyes and I thought he went from vulnerable to angry and vice versa really well. SB was superb.

Ian/Kate was also really good. LK and IB have chemistry. The writing of their scenes was really strong and I like the feel of the relationship so far.

Not a bad show. Not too much going on but good story movement.

LK has the weirdest nostrils in the whole entire world.

Seriously...it looks like someone slipped with the nose hair trimmers and cut a big "V" chunk of out them. It's so distracting, especially when they got right up in hers and Ian's faces with the camera. I can't really stand Kate, but I do think LK is a really pretty woman...usually.

LMAO - you kill me, Cindy!

There was definitely something off about the whole 'blue eyes' thing - it was almost like GG adlibbed it but with a lack of confidence and AS tried to help with the pained look on her face and they both ended up looking silly.

The "I'm so sorey, I'll always be sorey, I've never been so sorey and I will be sorey til the end of time' line was painfully bad. Both the written words and the delivery. If I'd caught my husband passionately kissing my sister (or anyone else) he'd damn well better be able to pull off an apology that sounds more sincere than that one. And Sami's biker chick look just wasn't working with the whole broken hearted angst of the scene.

I thought Brady/Madison were good but I agree that it confounds me why they always dress Madison to match the scenery. I was impressed that Martsolf brought the tears in a believable way.

I am not familiar with Ian Buchanan's work so I don't have anything to measure now by - but so far I'm kind of creeped out, but not in a fun way. He just seems a little too cartoonish for me - and there is something very weird about his eyebrows. Like they're painted on or something. I was hoping to really enjoy the Ian/Kate scenes but I can't get past the fact that I don't find him nearly attractive enough to pull off this whole seduction thing they were going with.

OMG - the Abby/Carrie/Jack/Austin scenes WERE creepy in all the right ways. Abby is so working Austin over. I thought both Mansi and Muldoon were great in those scenes! Funny and uncomfortable all at the same time.

LOL at Sami calling Austin a fool before storming out. Said so many times by so many mouths.

Johnny and Allie as twins crack me up every time I see them. Sydney looks more like Johnny's twin, considering Allie's towers over both of them and is probably taller than both Theo and Ciara.

I liked Sami and Rafe's scenes, especially that kiss at the end. Sweeney and Gering did well in those scenes.

Loved Abigail making Austin squirm in front of Carrie and Jack. Mansi is amazing!

I really liked Brady and Madison's scenes. I thought Martsolf did a fine job there. These two are finally interesting.

Nothing really pulled me into Kate and Ian's scenes. And actually, I'm kind of sick of Kate having a past with every new potential villain that shows up. Anyone remember the past she shared with Ava's dad? If you blinked, you missed it because he didn't last long, nor did that angle. Ian and Kate reminded me of that immediately.

What's this I see? A character crying with actual tears in her eyes?!

I don't care about this Bradison stuff but Sarah Brown is doing a good job today.

I wish they would get her away from Brady. The actor is so hammy.
I wish they'd get rid of Eric Martsolf altogether. I've never liked him as Brady. Nor did I like him as Ethan on Passions. He tries too hard to play it straight and it makes him come across as super hammy. (We all know he's gay, right?)
He's definitely not gay. He's as straight as they come, and is married with children.

Ian is awesome! His scenes were the only ones I didn't fast forward. He has the same attitude my Ej had before they castrated him in 2007 :shame:
